A very good read DKR,I really see some potential of where this story is going! This opening chapter is a great way to set up the rest of your story with alot of really good twists and turns!
Just a short. I entered a Zombie-themed writing contest last year - which fell apart, but that's another story. I decided to write a couple of Zombie themed shorts to have something should the contest come around this year. Of course, everything I've done could be worked up into a long story... Now that I've finished my latest book, thought it would be fun to clear the pipes, so as to speak, while sorting out my next novel-length effort. Going to be straight SciFi, haven't worked any up of late, so should be a good change of pace. Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate the time folks take to read and comment.
