    reactionary BS. Everything is a weapon. I guess we ban everything. He could have killed her and then himself with a steak knife...

    nothing else really needing to print...just venting. On a side note I am taking donations to buy liberal politicians a spine and after that is purchased we buy them a conscience. Send all contributions to my Paypal account. I will use it as part of my " Liberal Education " fund ;)

    I know he is Bruce. I really have difficult with Liberalism and its utter and complete lack of logic. I'm so glad I get American Rifleman and its Armed citizen column monthly. It makes the cockles of my heart warm and gives me a sliver of hope for the future. Just a sliver....

    Well, he did exactly that, he expressed an opinion. The fact is that opinions are not hard to come by, I even have a few. His error, in my mind, was the platform he used to express his opinion. He blew it dragging an age old and unrelated argument onto an entertainment platform. Slapping him around is the right thing to do, but the real reason he needs slapping is editorial, not the old guns/knives/baseball bat/stone equivalency test. That is for the law and the courts, not football.

    My opinion is that he should go back and call the game, not editorialize or do the fill-ins. He was good at the running commentary, and just about worthless as anchor. The Peter Principal of percussive sublimation personified.

    And the spinning has hardly started. "What I meant was ---"

    But yes, he needs a civics lesson to go with the history lesson.

    I'm thinking that Costas should understand that he can't pick and choose amendments he likes. Without the 2nd amendment there probably won't be the 1st. Or the 3rd, 4th, 5th, ...etc.

    There have been those in power who have tried and a few have succeeded in making it an offence to speak against the constitution by loosely (very) applying the sedition act to a given speech or act of incitement. I'm sure should they try hard enough they could have me and others here charged with sedition. Look at the actions taken in the last eleven years against the 1st amendment and you can see where we are headed.
