I have some ammo from different manufactures. I buy from known company's and suppliers. Went to test fire a couple of AR builds, the kids xmas presents. Hand a bunch of failure to fires and a couple hand fires. thought it was the guns until I changed ammo. Seem to have hard primes on the lot I bought. Just a heads up i am now test firing 20 or so rounds from what ever I buy so in a SHTF situation I know it will work. I was luck that this was only a 500 round lot.
Notify the manufacture. They may replace it. At the very least, it may be recalled, or correct the problem.
Side note. Ammo that I have never had a problem with. Prvi Partizan and PMC. I have had some FTF's and FTE's with Federal, but after switching to PMAG's .. that problem stopped.

The ammo is commercial reloads, I will try it in my issued M16 at work but based on the hang fire issue and some feeding issues I think it is a bad batch. Have tried it in two rifles so far. The point I was trying to make is I will no longer believe that it will work and then storing it without test firing some.
Understood, I thought you were having issues with military primers and mistakenly believed I could help.
That is a good point for us all to remember regarding any critical equipment or supplies. Always test before needing to rely on it. Clothing, hand tools, generators, etc. My brother bought several boxes of Win powerpoint .223 and about 1/3 of the cartridges had bullets so loose they fell into the cartidge case and rattled around. Even commercial ammo you want to visually inspect and test shoot before trusting it.
NO you were right I ordered new hammer springs for all three new guns. FYI The CMMG parts kits have non mil spec springs. Thanks for the help.
