Preparing for the election??

I saw a convoy of these rolling into Atlanta. Could they be preparing for the election??

The back says "military police".

 

It could just be me but those launcher tubes don't look right. the rear hatch is open and the tires look like they are in need of replacements.

Maybe it's one of those Militia groups heading to a staging area for the next nor-easter that is scheduled to hit mid next week ;-)

 

If it were over here I'd say it's because it's opening day of deer season and they're from Austin or Dallas. Do not camo yourself as a Holstein this weekend.

 

The launcher tubes look identical to the setup that was shown on the "Sons of Guns" TV show for a build that they did on a riot control vehicle for the New Orleans Police Dept. The tubes were for launching CS canisters in that case..

 

Oke Doke then! I'm set for fuel for a 3 week riot if i decide to drive into work. Thankfully I can work from home so if need be, I've got enough fuel to go 1000 miles overland !

 

Purely a tongue-in-cheek jab at VT for telling us where to top off the tanks.

 

A buddy i know says if the SHTF he has a neighbor who has been collecting gold bars since he was 14, but he does not believe in banks or weapons. He refers to him as the bank of Todd, and he plans to make a withdraw.....

 

Gates are locked, liquor cabinet restocked, ditto chasers, ice cube trays filled, disposable plastic cups, ammo placement, ditto weapons, batteries in sensors changed, grocery run complete, gas, diesel, propane adequate. Personal carry locked and loaded. Vest within reach of door.

Yup, we are good to go. Tuesday afternoon .... thats 12:01pm I will fire up the stereo with random cds at eardrum damage sound levels, have lunch, then get stinkin drunk .....

I also have extra belly button lint on hand as that may be the only thing left to contemplate that won't cost me any sanity I may have left.

They were coming either down I-85(S) or I-20(W) --> 285 W. I didn't see the guys inside either to see if they were Marines or just NG. If they were Marines, they're either coming from Fort Gordon (Augusta) or if I85, perhaps Beaufort, SC. That's just wild speculation though based on where I saw them on 285. For all I know, they could've continued N on I75 to Chattanooga.

 

That same buddy may be looking you as a gas station, or local convenience store. I'm thinking that you might be best divesting of that friendship well prior to shtf and keep an eye on that one.

 

About a couple miles short. I'd hope they'd go as far north as 10 mile, maybe 12 mile in some places.

Actually, I didn't think people lived south of the county baseline. Only Obama voters and sheeple.

 

of course you read the Military Police on the deck. Just above the drivers side rear tire, I swear it looks like it reads "Lost Tag" ........... wtf ....... lol

 

Since it hasn't been up armored I am guessing some guard unit having drill.
