We will have to disagree on that. What I mean is you might, but I certainly will not, and in the end I don't think you will either. Problem is; there are just too many people in this nation now who think about this issue just as you do. As to my statement about the Sheeple, Clowns/Cowardly lions and the Greedy I am sure there are others who think as I do, but there are way too few of us to even mention, or that can make a significant difference. I weep for our nation, and the rage burns deep in my heart, but we are too few. I fear our nation is lost......

Not true. The Pope is a benevolent dictator. Absolutes are almost never true.

 

That is an argument we are not going to have. But I will disagree with you. The church has a very long history, and not all of it is clean.

 

I don't argue . . . I prefer a debate. Arguments are emotional. Once you become emotional, you have lost.

I mentioned nothing of the Catholic church. I wrote "the Pope," as in Pope Benedict XVI--I stated nothing of past Popes.

So, to clarify: Not true. Pope Benedict is a benevolent dictator. Absolutes are almost never true.

 

I concur. Otherwise, I would've stated "Popes" instead of "the Pope."

 

When one writes "the President," it is generally accepted that you are speaking of the current sitting President . . . no? Otherwise, you would refer to them by name.

 

Religion is emotional. It is the unseen, and the un-provable, it is FAITH above all. To discuss Faith without emotion, is to discuss taste without smell. They are too inter-related to separate. And the Pope by his very office is the word of God made flesh. And the Pope is the highest officer of the church. You can not separate them.
I am not Catholic, My relationship with God is personal to me, and I will not discuss it further.
