Posted: 3:58 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 Gun held to baby's mouth during robbery Seattle Police detectives are searching for a man who stuck a gun in a one-year-old child's face during a robbery attempt on the child's mother in Beacon Hill Monday night. Police say the armed suspect approached a woman sitting in her car near Shaffer Avenue South and South Morgan Street around 8:30 p.m. and demanded the woman's wallet and purse. The suspect - described as an Asian male in his early 20's with a thin build - threatened to kill the child and the mother if she resisted. The woman handed the suspect her bag containing diapers and baby formula and the suspect fled on foot. If you have any information about the suspect or this case, please contact Detective Tom Healy at (206) 684-5535 or send an email to Thomas.Healy@seattle.gov. http://www.kirotv.com/news/news/Gun-held-to-babys-mouth-during-robbery/nSgXP/
LOL...I'll give you this muc, that's the first time I ever saw you say anything less than kind about anyone but as Sp[ringstien said on the Nebraska album, Sir, I guess there is just evil in the world.
Indeed. Although "evil" is a concept I cannot fully relate to, I can't equate it to anything else or describe it in a better format. Evil indeed.
There is EVIL out there, and now and then I quickly realize it for who and what it is. The problem is; what action do I take under todays societies rules of engagement? Often, most actions I would consider would put me in legal jeopardy.
Monsters are real. They don't [always] hide under beds or in closets. They blend into society like an average human. Most are intelligent enough to place themselves closest to their preferred prey. This one chose to hide behind a child to get what he wanted. Evil? I think of evil as a little darker, and more powerful force than this coward had the ability to draw upon.
he threatened the most sacred bond there is, Tracy, when he threatened a mother's baby...that is evil.
If I understood the article, there is one good thing from this. The man got away with a bag of diapers and formula. I am not condoning what the low life did. I do think it is sweet that diapers and formula is all he got for his efforts. Now, if the diapers were all used it would be nice.
I think the subhuman should have died a very painful death over no more than dirty diapers. But then some have accused me of being a bit harsh on lowlifes.jmo
Now, I'm not saying anybody should do this, but I would love to see some "little old ladies" carrying purses around with remote detonated explosives in them. When some piece of crap comes along and robs them of their belongings, and gets a safe distance from innocents - kaboom.. Or at least a tracking device with the tracker in the hands of someone like the main character in the movie "Taken"...
I like the idea of maybe a "Dye Packet" that explodes if the Purse leaves the vicinity of the owner..... would leave a permanent dye, on the Snatch Artist.... They would be very easy to spot, and with a "Tagant" in the dye, would be easily used to prosecute the miscreant. You could use a coded Encrypted Bluetooth signal, to trigger the explosive, in a Failsafe Mode. Loss of signal triggers the Packet, with a Safe Switch, of some kind, on the Packet. Just think'en......
