    Kathy,
I am not the same, old man here and mostly reading, not much posting.
I got in some freeze dried broccoli, ordered more freeze dried fruit and items, canned some pickles and squash and bought more can goods, and ammo.

Got a bunch of seeds from Victory Seed Co.

Eggplant, broccoli (2 kinds), Asparagus, three varieties of lettuce, three varieties of cucumber, five kinds of pepper, three varieties of tomato, and because we really love 'em - Texas Cream Peas.

Yep, gonna try my hand at backyard gardening.

Reading glasses in strengths of 1.25 - 3.50. Purchased 20 pr. for future needs/bartering. Gonna be tough when our aging eyes can't read the survival books/manuals because there is no more reading glasses to be had. I spent exactly $20 on these, purchased from local Dollar Store. Also got several eye glass repair kits for putting back.
Plan on going back next paycheck to purchase basic cleaning supplies, they are much cheaper at the Dollar Store.

Just got a 800 watt DC to AC inverter for running small household appliances from car during power outages. Can't afford a generator, and it occured to me that I was driving one. :)

Dehydrating tomatoes, celery, chanterelles we picked, and today more tomatoes. I still get amazed over the quantity of dried food you can stuff in a quart jar! And besides taking up such a little amount of space, it weighs almost nothing!

If you look in a large safe you will find a large number of gas operated long distance hole punches. They eat cartridges of varying size. Spiting out the husk when done.

A couple of these Zippo hand warmers and replacement burners.
    41Sw50L8+gL._AA300_.

You can use the Coleman fuel (I use the high grade stuff) for this hand warmer since it is naptha. It's cheaper than buying tiny containers of lighter fuel.

Today I put away my winter LubeOil (Dello 400 15W40) 70 USG in 5 USG Pails. This brings my in-House total to 210 USG or 3 years Supply. Also put away the LubeOil and FuelFilters for the GenSets, which is also 3 Years Supply. Now I can start on the Winter Grub Order to be submitted on Aug 1st.
Woodsheds are full. Powerhouse is ready. Fill the freezers, and I am set for winter. Huh Rah.... [woot]
