How Do I Un-watch A Thread ?

I have threads in which I made a comment which are showing up as watched and there is no way that I can find to remove that.

 

Go back to your post and click 'Edit.'

Then click 'More Options.'

Then, uncheck the appropriate boxes and 'Save.'


Next, figure out how to make the default behavior having 'Watch this thread' UNCHECKED.

 

Go to your preferences: http://www.survivalmonkey.com/account/preferences

and uncheck the box to watch threads automatically.

I would suggest everyone do this or you're going to have a mess on your hands.

 

Actually, I had a BUNCH of watched threads (e.g., a thread with links to fish antibiotic vendors) so that I wouldn't have to search for them everytime. They WERE showing after the move to XF, but now they're all gone. So, I think something must have gotten reset during this thing with the alerts/watched thread default behavior.

Not a big deal...but, if you had watched threads, you should go check them.

 

OK...I take it back. They're all there....in addition to ALL of the posts I've made since the "watch thread" as default thing went into effect. This is the mess I was referring to above.

Go to your "Watched Threads" link in your avatar dropdown. You may not have any visible, but click 'Show all watched threads.' BAM!! That's gonna be some work........I'm just glad I caught it now.

 

Ahhhh....much easier. (Having a V-8 moment).
