Post Apocalypse Job Search

    I have had quite an adventure this past several days. Mr. Ghrits and I sat out in our kayak to do an exploratory trip to survey the remains of civilization, such as it is, back in the former metropolis of Columbus, Georgia. The river has been flowing hard, with all the rain we've had but we managed to make progress. The first bridge we came upon, had a number of subsistence fishermen. Not wanting to attract attention, we waited until dark to paddle beneath the bridge and our first night was a cold camp where we shared some sun-dried fish and turtle jerky.We are beginning to encounter more survivors in canoes and inner-tubes, trying to escape the city. no doubt. Most of them were dressed lightly and did not appear to have nearly enough supplies to make for very long. I feel a tremendous empathy for them setting out with just a canoe or tube and maybe an ice-chest with a few paltry beverages. They cannot possible hope to survive long, but who know? maybe they too have a cache in a cave somewhere that will enable them to live long enough to find a means of prospering.

    I was wondering if this fine Gentleman, was NOW, your father-in-Law.... Of course, if that was the case, those claws are sunk in way to deep... Now....
    I agree with Sea... Great Campfire Story, to be shared, with a shared Bottle.....

    Nope, not sure what ever happened to her. I made sure to find one that was at least partially declawed for marrying.

    I'd be seriously surprised if Frank and Mr Ghrits were ready for the world or the world was ready for Frank and Mr Ghrits but maybe Gator was right and Frank made contact with that beautiful redhead. Don't think he had the bear gall bladder with him though.
