The suspects may be neo nazi skinheads....who are into calligraphy...or antisemitic tattooists taking a break from the usual boring, repetitive swastika and SS runic designs. Most every faith has a spectrum of "goodness" and "badness" with regards to the behaviour of adherents, and perhaps the anti social behaviour of some at the "bad" end of the faith spectrum is a reflection of their commitment to extreme views and interpretations of faith based doctrine and dogma, and a commitment to beliefs not supported by valid evidence. Ultra Orthodox Jews may have been responsible for the vandalism, but the excellence of the Hebrew handwriting and the "World Ultra Orthodox Jewry" responsibility statement does not necessarily infer that Ultra Orthodox Jews were actually responsible. Interesting that the police spokesperson was Micky Rosenfeld....just one of those serendipidous coincidences I guess....the odds are that he's probably an ultra fundamentalist Pentacostal. ; )
Remember the young man that was caught "keying" cars in Japan/China? They gave him what he badly needed--a caneing. The world's liberals railed about the beating but I bet he never touched another car to damage it. That is what needs to be done to these scum. A real good butt "whoopin" might help also. When they get out of the hospital with their arms/fingers in casts they will think twice about defacing monuments. Am old fashioned but still believe if the butt gets beat long enough and hard enough it will tell the brain not to do it again.
