Thanks for posting. I have so much going on this week, I might have forgotten.

 

One of many examples of why I consider them part of the greatest generation. A round from me to the few left down at the legion hall.

 

Did anyone notice the homage to the first drive-in theater Google has on its home-page (79 years ago today)?

...no mention of D-Day.

I don't use the google search (directly)

 

I use Chrome just for GMail...so, I have it set as the homepage for that browser.

 

Ahh...someone else noticed it before me.

Cute video. But they still should acknowledge D-day instead. Of course, today's young people know nothing of either.

 

Could easily have done both.. show a WWII newsreel on the screen or something.
