Has anyone else tried out this quiz that matches your answers to various politicians' position on various issues? The idea is that the answer to these questions will give you an idea of which politician you most agree with and, conversely, which politician(s) you most disagree with. For those of you that have tried it, what did you think of it as an analytical tool, and did you get any surprises? VoteMatch Quiz
I don't care for the survey... it fails to allow you to rate which areas you feel are most important to you... it simply figures that each question is equally weighted... it has rythm but i can't dance to it i give it a 10 out of 100
Hunstman Paul Nadar Biden Gingrich Obama Clinton Giuliani Cain McCotter ( who the heck is that? ) 16. Romney....Its true...I do hate this guy!
It's a poorly set up survey since the "questions" are not explained enough (that is to say the choice you are expected to give shouldn't be simply <--this *or* that --> based on how vague the questions sometimes are. After taking the survey, my #1 candidate ended up being Ron Paul, but not at 100% which I find to be odd...so I looked at his own answers, and they were spot on with mine, only I couldn't answer them the way Paul would have because "remove the federal government from the equation" was not a solution to every question asked. =)
Here's another one of those quizes, which offers a bit more clear definition of the issues. 2012 Election: The Candidate Match Game - USATODAY.com
That one is much better. I only got 92.6% Ron Paul, but he is #1....I can live with that. Adjusting the sliders at the left will give you a more clear result, too. Almost forgot that.
Closer... but it still weighs every issue with an equal weight... some issues are more important thatn others and shopuld have a greater weaight as a result... Rated me with Gingrich 1st and Ron Paul 2nd, and Bauchman 3rd...
I agree mysterymet. Huntsman was an Intellectual fiscal conservative with some avant-garde tendencies.
