Wheres the next war?

I was thinking we should do a poll on where we all think the next big conflict will be. Within the last week things have seemed to get pretty interesting over there. North Korea issues unusually specific threat | The Envoy - Yahoo! News

If anyone else has any other suggestions lets hear it.

smith, do you say southern border because or the immigration problem we currently have,drugs, mexican cartels...I could see this happening, just curious how others stand on it and why.

gator, i could see this turning into a race war or a big riot that the media will incite. So far the worst thing ive seen with the travon case is NBC doctoring the 911 call to make it sound like it was racially motivated.

clyde, you most likely are right about this, the middle east is a powder keg.

 

The middle east will never change, has been a war zone sense before the good book. The northern line is two hard to resupply(cold/distance/trees to hide behind) Lots of sheep. The southern line has been under probe for years. Guns,drugs,money and people move back and forth daily. The great men and women there do what they can, with there hands tied. LARGE units cross the river all the time. This will be the start for the war in the streets.

looks like it might happen here, it will be LA 1992 all over again. I don't remember it to much while it was happening(only in 2nd grade) but I've been reading a lot about it. Scary stuff, I'm thankful I didn't buy a house in the city and the next closest one is 25 miles from me. Hopefully more cases like this does not pop up before it gets out of control.

Israel. The Islamists will continue picking off Arabian/African countries in the name of democracy, until Saudi Arabia is the only one left. Yemen and Bahrain are in the works now. Tunisia, Egypt and Libya have already fallen. Jordan will be second to last. Once SA falls to Islamists, a Caliph will be established and Israel will be attacked by state-sponsored terrorists and forced to retaliate against the countries that sponsored it.

Look for this to happen within the next 5 years, especially if Obama gets reselected. If he doesn't, it may take a bit longer.

There will be other flare ups such as Africa, but America will not have the economic or idealogical inclination to engage those.

Good point. It is much cheaper to have a war in our own neighborhood than half way around the world.

I think NK is all cap and no rice. Given the outstanding *cough* success of their latest attempt to launch, I don't see them doing more than making fools of themselves yet again.

I don't know where I'd place my bets. Maybe Iran.

 

Im kind of iffy on venezuela beause if we go after them the we WILL be the oil hungry country that everyone makes us out to be. I read something earlier today about how NK rockets they were displaying might be fakes. Ill see if i can dig it up.

Best bet is on iran. They seem to keep dancing around the idea of peace while giving us the finger.
