42 Flowers You Can Eat : TreeHugger Anyone ever eaten marigolds? I've always thought they stunk. Deer won't eat 'em maybe for a reason...of course, this isn't saying much as deer don't like rosemary either. Maybe because backstrap and rosemary are good eats? Squash blossoms are pretty yummy.
I don't know abut Marigolds, but up here where I live Dandelions are the principal brows, that our Bears feed on once they wake up in the spring. Momma has pictures of our local Bear friends feeding on big patches of Dandelions, out on the Grassy areas. They love those flowers, as they ferment in the Bear's tummy, and make then so Drunk, they can't even get up and walk off. Great fun watching every Spring..... ..... YMMV....
That would be something to see Bruce! The closest we get hear is watching cows eat fermented apples in the spring that dropped last fall.
