What do they mean by debut? That transformer has been pretty much in open development for the past 5 or 6 years.
In this case, "debut" refers to the soon to be certifications by both the FAA and NHTSA for use on public roads and airways. Gotta say, it will be a poor excuse for a commuter vehicle until they get VTOL machinery so you can lift off your driveway quietly. Fun, maybe, for weekend sightseeing, but at near $300K per stem, there won't be one in my garage.
