Government Benefits, Grants, and Financial Aid for Citizens | USA.gov Government Benefits, Grants, and Financial Aid Get official information on grants, loans, financial aid, and other benefits from the U.S. government. When looking for financial assistance, remember that there are differences between grants and loans. You are required to pay back a loan, often with interest. You are not required to pay back a grant, but there are very few grants available to individuals. Most grants are awarded to universities, researchers, cities, states, counties, and non-profit organizations. Loans are generally the best option for individuals. Benefits.gov can help you identify loans and sources of financial assistance for which you may be eligible and tell you how and where to apply.
Hmmm better get my slice of the pie before everyone else in the hood uses up the money borrowed from China.
Hmmm.......they'll give free business loans to people from India to open gas station convenience stores, wonder if I pretend to be from Iran if they'd give me a loan to open a Gun Store
You figured me out. I'm just trying to help my friends get a piece of the pie, since we are all paying for the free handouts. For some it might not be a surprise and might already know. Just trying to show folks exactly how many programs exist and that state and local governments, corporations and those who qualify as low income are the ones that benefit from our hard earned money. Trying to show facts, I was hoping there was dollar figures attach to this.
I meant that in a fond, joking manner. I wasn't being disrespectful or condescending. I've got to do a better job with my smileys!
Don't worry about offending me or calling me out, I'm just another member like yourself. If my viewpoint/opinion is obscured and/or ignorant, I'm all for being corrected and learning from my errors. I am human and willing to learn from others who are more educated than myself. No offense taken, even if you were not joking. I'm here to learn from others about all subjects not just survival related topics.
