There's a thread on SM about these revolvers. Some like them, some don't.I like mine but I'm thinking along different lines,so it's up for sale.I've shot part of a box of .45LC and a couple boxes of .410s thru it.Cleaned and wiped down after use.Box and manual,2 boxes of .45LC go with it.I'll take a .22 ss in on trade or maybe a Mossberg pump in .410 or 20 ga.Maybe smaller handguns..New and used prices are all over the place,I'm asking $400 for mine. ETA..6 1/2" barrel. ETA Manual is missing,no clue where it went.
Kind of ironic that you mention a Hi Point .45..I was offered one yesterday for $125.00.Closer examination showed a crack in the slide..gave me the heebie-jeebies.Don't think I want one.
Many moons ago when I picked up my Hi Point .380 and 9mm I paid less than $125 for the both of them new out the door.
My Hi Point 45 works very well....I have put it though many tests and it has passed every time. It was built to work not to look pretty.
Not the most easily concealed, maybe not the most stopping power, maybe not the most handsome gun..but if it's what you have with you when the need arises, then I guess it's practical.I'd rather have it than a tire tool.
Auto's can spit out a lot of slugs before running, dry, but: Auto's can spit out a lot of slugs before running, dry, but: One advantage of The Judge is that once your cylinders are running on empty...its size and heft make for a much better club than any p!ssy little 9mm auto. ; )
Plus that lifetime warranty from mother,American made,a company that really does honour their warranty. I have several hi points and after minor tweaking and break in they do perform well but stay away from the aftermarket mags.
