Seriously, See for yourself! Grab your own calendar and look! 2012 Ends in December! I've got to get this prepping into higher gear. I thought they were kidding!
There was no "Scream Along with Poster" button, so I pushed "Like". Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
That whole 2012 deal makes me damn glad I'm not Mayan otherwise I might be worried... On the other hand it might work as an excuse to get my wife to let me buy a new gun right?
Bad plan... we got enough trouble as it is and you want to go and risk pissing off them gods...??? I say we just round ourselves up some hot teenage cheerleaders and have us a party on our last day on earth ya know...
The truth is that the Mayan were happily making calanders when some Spanish guys showed up and interuped them..........
LOL the calenders were finished. Mayan calenders are circular with no end and no beginning just as any circle. The only thing happening Dec. 21st is the end of the 13th baktun and the start of the 14th.
Those who lived during The Dark Ages and Feudalism would agree with that statement. More than once societies have felt this, it is only a matter of time before history repeats itself. Welcome to the Dark Ages! The beauty of the Greek and Roman Empires is long gone! The ruling system has collapsed and taken with it stable government, schools, libraries, a uniform currency, and a common language. Barter now replaces money as the major purchasing system. Cities and towns have been destroyed and transportation between them is extremely difficult, if not impossible. This era is not without government though. The Roman Catholic Church remains a strong unifying force. In addition, medieval civilization clings to a very simple form of government called " feudalism."
