I agree with that. I tell everyone, you wanna see reform? You gotta eliminate the ability of special interests, unions, corporations, etc from being able to influence legislation with campaign dollars. Make them rely on the small campaign contributions us private citizens are allowed to donate. I don't care how honest or sincere an elected official may be on the campaign trail, once he/she is in office they find out within minutes that they are now the slave of those big name contributors and will legislate accordingly. Unfortunately that reform can't ever happen because it has to be reformed by those who are under the control of the money they'd be eliminating.
