Is it just me or is Perry kind of creepy? I caught the end of his announcement speech and thought to myself...that man is not a true conservative. He gave me the "ill say anything to get elected" vibe. I trust my gut. Without knowing much about him or his record, just from watching him speak he's a slimy snake that will slit your throat to get ahead. I'll pass on Perry.

as i see it, everyone thats running for office atm is suspect they arent doing it for us, they are doing it for themselves specially anyone thats been in politics previously politicians are nothing more than criminals, no exclusions

Imagine what America could be like with 4 or even 8 years with Perry... It would be exactly the same. We still are going to be bankrupting ourselves with foreign wars over resources that you or I will NEVER see a dollar from. America will still be in debt.(probably more) Politicians ALWAYS have an excuse as to why they can't cut anything now. The gang of 6 or 12 or whatever it is will never get anything done. Foreign wars don't bleed us as deeply as the illegals and the welfare system. Plus we can avoid paying for "foreign wars" if we choose; we can't say the same about the illegals etc.
I think that he will be POTUS but it will not be good for the US. He will kill the trucking industry with pushing the North American Union and building supper highways from Mexico to Canada. He was for Hillery care and a Al Gore supporter. Make no mistake if anyone other than Ron Paul becomes POTUS then we may change paths but we will end up in the same crappy place. BWM

Percentage of children living 4th. Is that based on what our government calls poverty or actual poverty. A roof power cable and color tv with money for smokes and beer is not poverty it is mismanagement.
I agree about the "two party system" - a farce. The Foreign Banksters OWN us lock, stock & barrel. Even Paul, if elected, will only delay the inevitable a few years. The GOP and Liberals both hate and despise him, and he'll have NO support - it will, at best, be four years of utter stalemate and no progress. They won't allow him to DO anything. I truly feel only a total revolution, on a par with 1776, is the true answer - and I don't know if We the People have the collective cojones to do what is truly necessary. IF we 'took our nation back', it would mean war with the rest of the world under UN domination. I certainly do not look forward to what our kids and grandkids are inheriting. Total servitude and third-world society, or total war.

It is so very interesting to see and read what our Government considers Poverty, and then consider what my wife is seeing while deployed in Namibia, Africa with her team from "Doctors without Boarders" Those people are so DIRT Poor, they are very lucky to own one Goat, and a very rich family will own a cow. They have no electricity, no television, no car, no cellphone, no technology at all. Yet they are the most Happy People, she has run across in many years. They HAVE Families, Strong Families, and they share everything with their families. They are so gracious to the people that improve their situations, they bring presents, for the Team. Just little things that they make, to thank those that help them. I asked her how she thought our Poverty Stricken Folks would do, living like those, Happy People, do? Her reply was "They would be dead in a week." All we hear from our Poor, is whining and complaining, that they can't get enough Welfare, FoodStamps, Subsidized Housing, Free Cellphones, and all the other Government Handouts to make them comfortable. ...... YMMV....
