50lbs long grain rice...
and i had a 300 gal.poly tank..but i traded it off...

 

Been Canning & Freezing all weekend. Peaches, Corn, Okra, Homemade Soup, Blueberries. Thinking about buying a small chest freezer to go with my big upright freezer.

 

2 cases of TP. Because you never, ever can have too much! Also some more ammo and batteries.

 

Got the dehydrator working overtime making jerky and dried fruit.

 

I made 800 rounds of .308 165gr Sie GK / over 42.5 gr R-15, and 500 rounds of .223 69 gr over 25 gr R-15. Two twenty round mags for my AR-10

 

Besides the food I bought, I got 2 bottles of free painkiller at work. A big reason I took my job (besides the paycheck) is that we get all kinds of completely random free vendor samples there. It's highly conducive to prepping. I work in advertising.

 

Youngest granddaughter and I hit the Goodwill store yesterday,found a working flashlight with batteries for .99,50' of light rope for .59. Then we hit Aldi's and got more canned goods,Ramen noodles and mayo.Today I found whole pork loins for $1.89/lb.,got two. Bar S hotdogs were .49,got 10.Every little bit helps,I reckon..

 

should have posted this earlier. it may not still be valid. low cost rope is always a good deal. 100 ft 1/2 inch poly braid $27.95 not so good price. but, how about 100 ft hanks of 3/8 poly braid at $5.00? i bought 11 hanks. TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE.

colors are not great for being covert, .... red, white, blue, yellow, and black. they were out of black when i went back to get 9 addition hanks after i bought the first 2.

I converted available FRNs fuel but due to recent price increases i've used it up. Next month need to fill up again.

Heaven only knows what tomorrow (or Monday) is going to bring.

 

Been canning more Peaches. An since I like my Truckbox in basement so much, went a few junkyards & got 3 more. Now to properly place them. They seal night & tight & bugproof.

 

I bought my 288th roll of toilet paper today.

 

Put in my winter squash transplants, a few more crooknecks, two bean type transplants, beets, while "moma" was putting up pear preserves and pear sauce. She did tomatoes and soup yesterday. Got my reloader room shaping up. Put in two stacks of used kitchen cabinets, made shelves for the back of the desk, installed a 4' florecent, and started resorting things in better places(hopefully). Soon as it cools a bit we will get back to splitting/stacking the wood already down. Have one more large Oak to drop--it is too close to my fig bush row.

 

harvested about 15 more lbs. of tomatoes from the garden today, that makes about 40 lbs or so for the week, should be able to can this weekend. Also roasted coffee beans, going to vacuum pack them tomorrow.

 

I love summer !

Next comes the wash, dry, freeze, divide into 2-cup portions, vacuume bag and freeze.

Why 2 cup portions ? Because that's what most recipies call for, so says my better half.
I just do the work...

 

20lbs of dried beef
40 cans of soup
4 cases of ramen noodles
50lb bag of flour
and two ceramic water filters.

I got a nice little bonus from work because we exceeded the target production by 12%. Bosses were so impressed they gave us Visa gift cards. I went to the local Aldi market and then to a bulk food store. The ceramic filters I had on order and they just happen to come in this week.

 

LogOut. Those berries don't look safe to Eat. I can take those off your hands to prevent any food poisoning.

 

Well after having blueberry pancakes, and a pie the next day I can assure those berries are just fine.
