I just rattled off all 3 boxes of Blazer aluminum cases like Travis Haley on Pixie Sticks and Mountain Dew, like 3 weeks ago. WHAT? WHAT NOW? It's like that, yeah. =) I will stick with brass reloads. I was glad to be finished with the aluminum cases. I wear kevlar gloves and eyepro, so at least I feel invulnerable. My Dad tells me stories about folks blowing their hands off and stuff, but I know he's just worried. Tomorrow I will be loading some 7mm Rem Mags beyond max capacity so tight the primers bulge back out. Gotta go.
Brokor...Send me your address so I know where to send the "Get Well" and/or "sympathy" card to you or your beneficiaries...BTW, can I have all your preps...
seawolf you took the words right out of my mouth. if you need to depend on your ammo . load it yourself and double check each step.
So what you are saying is, don't buy your ammo from the Russian guy who "knows peeples", and will somehow always find "what you needs", and tells you to "ghave nice day". Smart choice.
Hell, rolling my own is the only way I can afford to shoot with any sort of volume. The Dillon 650 helps with the speed
B, that Roosky ammo is okay for making noise...... You want them there tiny groupings, ya gotta 'roll your own'. My SKS actually shoots much better with GOOD ammo, than the steel-cased 'noise-makers'. Now, when the 'Golden Horde' comes calling they WILL ge the cheap ComBloc ammo first, the hard way!
Wolf is good for blasting; in tact i cool terms; mot or minute of torso. Although Federal and others offer excellent accuracy; my reloads are cheaper.
