My latest AR acquisition. When I brought this one home my 10 yo disavowed his claim on a RR and declared this one to be "his" AR. Spikes tactical complete upper & lower package in flat dark eath, yankee hill barrel and forearm, vltor stock. After I got it sighted in, my son was 19/20 on a 6" steel plate at 100 yards last weekend. Even though the trigger blows compared to the triggers on our other AR's, it's ok for him.
That's a Beta-C mag and yes it is a 100 round dual drum. Not very well reviewed when they came out and I haven't heard much about them in a few years. http://www.betaco.com/
New M4gery added to my WWZ arsenal. This one is more to spec than the S&W M&P15 I had, lighter, and is more of an m4gery than the m&p15. I loves my gun.
well i'm new here but hopefully this will get me some acceptance?! lol 7.5 inch barrel, yhm short quadrail,del-ton lower(assembled by myself),front iron sight with laser, rear iron sight.
Well here it is. Got this one last Saturday for $850 with case, 2 30rnd, 2 20rnd mags. http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx217/cetane/a42cb675.jpg http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx217/cetane/4efc294f.jpg
Have you shot your new AR yet? With the bull-barrel you might get pretty good groupings, although, it's hard to say without testing it. How many inches is the barrel? How do you like the stock?
Here are a few of mine. The first is a PSA 6.8spc 18" with Troy extreme free float hand guard, topped with a vortex viper 6.5-20x44 scope. Has a YHM flash hider. This is(as of right now) a complete stag upper topped with an eotech and Daniel Defense BUIS. Has a mako grip pod and magwell grip on it. The only difference between it now and the pictures is i changed the stock to magpul acs stock. This is a 6.8spc 20" compete stag upper(free float hand guard) with a PSA lower and parts kit. Sporting a Harris bi-pod. The scope has been removed to be upgraded to better optics when dime allows.
I just finished reading the forum article on the Ideal Survival Rifle, an AR-15 in short barrel, 14-16", in 223. It recommended military ball ammo. The military uses ball because of the Geneva Convention. It uses every trick to try to make ball act like expanding bullets, but they remain inferior to today's best game bullets. I would strongly reccomend a game bullet of 60 grains or more for both hunting (larger than varmints), and anti-personel use.
1 of my AR's. 20" Bushmaster with LaRue everything. Updated photo of the 20" and my 16". The 16" still needs an optic. I'm just torn between a few. Someday I'll make up my mind.
There are some nice looking AR's in here. They are really making me want to go out and get some add ons for mine. Making me a little jealous.
My first SBR and LMT 10.5" factory gun. The H1 RDS did not work for my onld eyse and astigmatism the 2 MOA dot on the Aimpoint M4 works much better that the larger 4 MOA dot did. My current SBR's the LMT 10.5" and a BCM 11.5" The third gun is my BLT a LMT lower and BCM 14.5" midlength upper.
