    Dealing With Toppling Domino's

We have had a string of expensive domino's toppling in close sequence: first our washer and dryer went out, then our water heater. We thought we were done because that stuff comes in three's---right???

So, we needed to replace an old sofa and we did so.

Then my garage door opener failed. We got that fixed.

Then, the big one: our sewer line backed up. We had it checked and the pipes in the middle of the street (still our responsibility) needed to be replaced. That little gem cost us just shy of $6,000.00.

We seriously need to let our checkbook cool down for a while.

However, I did buy some more .45acp.

Been reloading like a banshee with it's tail on fire during the snow, bad weather, and flu recovery. My ammo shelves look like a gun shop's. Ready for spring blasting. Reorganized some shelves and have three lockable stackable kitchen types to find a place for. Have the 32' flat bed trailer road worthy again with a new tongue and more cross braces. It actually looks like a trailer again. Ready for the metal flooring finally.

Holy Crap we've spent how much?

OK, i think i need to reel it back in, just a bit. (or maybe not)

in the past few weeks I've spent nearly 2700 and the best wife ever had spent over 2200. That means, the party is over. Back to weekly additions as opposed to bulk/massive purchases.

Yep, money is gone. next is building season. followed by planting season, then canning season.

$$ purchases start again a year from now (if the economy stays the same). I'll let you know how the canning goes as we are going to be selling our excess produce at the local farmers market or trading for product we don't produce ourselves.
