It's not a Papoose, he and I both already said that. I gave him a link to what he has, and I think it has been resolved. Signed, "BROKOR"
First sorry for the typo "BROKOR", also I agree the papoose is wrong. I guess I'm just going to look for the book on that outfit.
Don't forget Ruger made a modified 10-22 with a barrel hinge and folding stock - never actually seen one, just the magazine write-up. Would likely be the most accurate of the 'folders'.
after a trip to the local gun shop, it's called the "Rossi matched pair". Rossi has a 3 barrel set called the trivecta (sp), and they say there is also a 4 barrel set but now one knows what it is called. I still like the sights on the newer model rifle barrel, as compared to my older model. I haven't made up my mind on my wood stocks, over the newer polymer stocks.
I spied the tuffy yesterday for $175 at Big 5. Here is an interesting article on big game and the .410: Whitetail Deer hunting with 410 slugs
Good link. My first hunting rifle was a .410 as a kid and I knew then that I couldn't shoot much over 50 yards, as instructed by my father. Moving up to the 30-30 was a nice thing though.
