    ok call me dumb here, but why or how can there be people in this country that cant see this or think three steps ahead but think jersey shore is the best thing next to slic bread... we are truely Fu@ked..

    lol, he said "this is about....world denomination." And then he paused, rethought the mistake by the look on his face, and then restated "world domination". Whether it was intentional or accidental, it was still ironic and a little funny.

    One thing you can say about Glen Beck, is that most of his pridictions are right on. He basis what he says on research and a lot of it.

    Yeah, he watches Alex Jones and doesn't give the people the full, dirty story. He wraps it in kindness and with a well thought delivery. If somebody paid me 30 million dollars a year, I could deliver a nice, well thought speech, too. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, it just isn't the whole truth. Of course, not too many folks can handle the whole truth. Beck has his crowd, and Jones has a much larger, dedicated listening audience. As long as Beck can keep on the same track, he will continue to be little more than a helpful source for a different point of view. His past is too riddled with right wing warmongers and his hands dip deep into a lot of unsavory pockets for me to trust his word 100%.

    Beck is currently a lot better than any other mainstream corporate media source, but that's only because Dobbs is gone.

    Glenn Beck has a better pulpit than Alex Jones and it is packed in a less "conspiritorial" manner. That is why he is listened to by the masses. If Alex had a TV show like this, I am not sure as many people would listen.

    I am not dissing Alex, just that Alex is so straight forward that is scares people to the pont they don't want to watch. Baby steps isn't a bad thing for people who have been blinded for years.

    Cramming your truth finger up someones puckered ass isn't the way to relax the patient. Beck is the J6P version of truth acceptance lubricant. :)

    Glenn Beck is an entertainer, a news media tool, who probably hasn't had an original thought in years, and tends to turn all teary eyed at the drop of a hat.

    But, hey, that's just my opinion. :D

    ok ok.. but did you know that was done as a result of his on air emotional responses? They had to do something to get the shot.. I think TYT was blowing some ******** in the air with this one.

    Yes, Beck is an entertainer.. but that's what he's lined up to do. J6P needs the lubricant before he can get the truth finger crammed in there ;)

    Would it not have been more honest then to include an advisory for that image to the effect that the image was deliberately posed for in a studio, and that the emotional expression was confected.

    If a demagogue has to rely on smoke and mirrors trickery to convey their message, one can only wonder if their messsage has any credibility, and indeed whether the demagogue can be relied upon for truthfullness at all.

    The issue of the particular photographer being used for the shoot only highlights the cynical hypocrisy of the man and undermines his credibility as a commentator to be taken seriously. Entertainer of a kind...arguably, but television journalist????....hmmmmmm

    Yeah I knew that. I was paying special attention to the part when Beck said, "My eyes are used to this stuff," referring to the crap the lady was putting beneath his eyes to make him *cry*. I thought it was funny and ironic.

    Chello pretty much nailed the important parts. Beck has been caught in scandalous lies before. The guy isn't an "entertainer" as long as folks still perceive him as being a television journalist. He can't be both and be expected to be appreciated for his dishonesty. Seriously. Who lines up a big photo shoot with a magazine and has the lady you publicly despise cater to you like a friend? Beck does.

    I proved that. Move on! ;)

    I just find it humorous that you're investing energy into it at all. Isn't it obvious enough by virtue of the fact that he's on TV? isn't that being a bit nit-picky too? My response is "really? don't we have better things to harp on? ".. and now move on.

    Oh, I am with you, but you like to type how you TALK, and your intentions are not always conveyed as easily in type as they are with sound.

    You have to be clear with your words if you expect to be understood. ;)

    What I read from you now is, "Beck is on TV, therefore Beck is as worthless as the rest of the corporate whores."

    99% The other %1 is that I like to watch to see what's being said on TV. SOMEtimes you can pick up a few things to research on your own. Aside from that, I just thought the TYT guy was being stupid in attempt to rag on right wing media. That's all that guy does..he's just as worthless if not more worthless than MSM.
