It is a fun game we play at work when business is slow and everything is clean. The first person give a scenario with guidelines and the others answer. Here is todays example. The SHTF and you can arm yourself with any gun you want. You are limited to one rifle, one shotgun, and one sidearm. I would take a Mossberg 590a1, a Ruger sr-556c, and a sig p226.
What would I choose? Exactly what is in my load-out now. Multi-caliber MGI AR in 5.56/7.62R topped with an ACOG, 870 Tactical with Knoxx folding and recoil reducing stock, and Beretta M9 with a spare slide in .22. Oh, and a pistol belt set up with the sidearm and ammo for it and the 2 long arms, and a pack with the spare barrel/bolt, slide and extra ammo, and the shotty in a scabbard - so it's a matter of grab and go.
LR-308, 870, 1911 have 2 of the 3 but my winchester 12 is a good standin for the 870, just not as tactikool
Colt AR-15 target trigger and heavy match barrel, savage model 24 .22mag over 20 gague, colt trooper mk III .357
Hey, spoolboy - Are you tabulating these responses to see what the consensus might be? Could be an interesting exercise just for s&g.
I'd keep my Mossy 500 because I've practiced with it and have come to love and respect it. I'd consider trading-in my Ruger mini-14 for an AR15 on advice I've seen on this forum. I would reluctantly trade my reliable and easily concealable Glock 9mm for any number of fine handguns like the 1911, but when I grow up, I hope to own a Mark XIX .44 Mag. Desert Eagle hand cannon, however impractical, it's a hell-of-a piece.
Remmy 870 HD shotty, Bushmaster M17S Bullpup in .223Rem/5.56X45, and my trusty Colt M1991A1 - all are reliable, accurate and hard hitting - and in my gun locker.
Bushmaster AR-15, 870 short 20 guage, Ruger P-89 9MM Have all of them . I just need a Scabbard for the shotgun. Dont forget a big knife.
