In High School I had a friend with one. One spring they tried to outrun the local cops in it. 3 guys fired up with a little firewater. No seat belts. They wrecked in a turn and ended in a farmers muddy field. All of them thrown from the vehicle. Two got up and looked for their buddy who was hollaring at the top of his lungs. The car was on its side, laying on him from the waist down. The cops were no help, and awaiting further reinforcements and other help. His friends to the objection of the cops rolled the car back on to its wheels. He was unhurt. there was an impression in the ground where he had been pushed down into the mud.

That's exactly what it looked like tac. Maybe not quite as shiny but the same none the less. We were living at Fort Monroe in Virginia and my brother, who had muscular dystrophy, was getting treatment at the Newington (CT) Children's Hospital. Every week we drove home from Virginia in that little Crosley so that she could bring my brother home on the weekends. That little bug did a lot of miles

Still like the larger wire wheels better. Just about killed a buddies A overworking it with mods. Seems a long time ago. Never could warm up to TDs and TFs.
(Or maybe Santa will bring me a '56 XK120. Loved that straight 6; ran like a scalded dog if you could start it.)

"A letter to a friend" written in 1513 by Fra Giovanni. It is sometimes referred to by the Title "Take Joy" and was included in the Tasha Tudor book of the same name.

I wish my husband would understand me & to know how important being prepared is to me. I wish an ice /snow storm would snow us in for 1 week so he would get this feeling that I have. I wish he would come on board with the rest of us here. This is a small wish but a big wish for me. All I have is hope & it is the season for that. I wont give up, I can't as there is too much to loose.

Be careful what you wish for with wanting to be snowed in for a week ;-) I know what that's like so it's just another day in the neighborhood for me, but some people don't handle it too well.

I like Pax's comment and that is one christmas presant better than any other. WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE THE PROGRESSIVES GOT CONTROL OF IT. THAT MEANS OUR CONSTITUTION MUST BE REINSTALLED AS THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND. WE WANT OUR FREEDOM BACK.
