It ticks me off when my neighbor decides to log his property and the runnoff messes up my creek... makes me want to... him
My pet tiff right now is the Rolling Boombox...... What makes some danged fools think they have the right to roll through a quiet neighborhood at night with a 1000 watt stereo blasting that cRap into our ears, rattling our windows and bones....? If I knew I could get away with murder......
Believe it or not, I had a sort of similar problem here...only the bastards would stop on the boulevard across my house and pump it up with all doors open at 2-3am! I remedied that with few shots from silenced airgun to the lights, windshield and their legs... Since there are houses all around, they never knew where the shots came from... Next night they didn't show up...that disappointed me...
Sorry, Seawolf! Some of us only get to damage our ear drums when we leave the house - as not to damage our childrens' senses. Drive time is the only time I get to enjoy (loudly) all the "junk" I don't let the kids listen to. I guess you can kick my butt later... I'll be the one in the blasting-noise vehicle. I'll be an easy target - I won't be able to hear you attack.
Unlike Bane, I haven't been shooting..... but I can dream..... I wouldn't mind if it was Classic Country or Golden Oldies Rock&Roll!
Why dream? Airguns are cheap, and no ballistic can be made on pellets. Just make sure its completely dark, open the window, do back 2-3 meters, and fire...Turn your dream to reality...
Yea, I don't know anything about all that... All I hear at night is a million or so tree frogs and crickets, the bullfrogs in the pond behind my house and the coyotes that live across the road.
87 here yesterday...had to turn the AC back on since it looks, smells, and feels like rain is coming...Sooooooo muggy. But I am SO grateful for the last few weeks of absolutely PERFECT weather!
82 yesterday, 71 today ... nights are generally 50ish but I guess that is fixing to change ... frost is forecast for tomorrow night. Blah ... I detest winter ... and it comes every single year ... sigh
1/2 inch of frost up in northern Az. Phoenix, miserable as usual! I hope to go north the first week of November, do some measuring, for fences, gates, and such and to see what has happend to the area since my last visit. I'll need to pack longjohns...it's getting cold up there at night...Never did check the propane heater out, and the woodstove is too dang big to be inside that tiny trailer! Winter has begun up there and I need to get out of here for awhile.... Maybe a couple of weeks....I can only hope!
