This annoys me beyond reason, and I may have to give up watching pro football games. They are running commercials in Spanish, and it aggravates me so much I can't believe it. I've experienced TV overseas, and I can understand the problems folks have that don't speak the local language, but the problems are theirs, not mine. Learn English, or go home.
And it gets worse, they are now showing the scores in Spanish, too. My buttons are half pushed and the timer is counting down.
Ha! They don't even show Florida Gator Games in Spanish...and we're in FLORIDA. So..yeah. Think I'm sticking with College ball all the way this year.... Oh, and GO GATORS!

T, it was on SNF on NBC. Didn't see it on the early games, and no idea if they'll repeat. They got a nastygram from me last night.
Nah....We all have our teams...and we all take some hits. My poor NFL team hasn't had a winning team in years and years....Poor boys. They only remember how to play football one half of the game and you never know which half it's going to be... But I'll stay loyal to the Jags too since I've been with them from the beginning..... Well, that, and I look good in teal and black....
I know what you mean ... Minnesota used to do really really well. Then my man Mr. Peterson went to play for them and I swear the second I started rooting for them ... blah!! Same thing with horses ... the ONE and ONLY time I bet money on the Kentucky Derby the horse (Eight Belles) I bet on fell and broke her legs ... The hubby always wants to know who is my favorite before he picks ... No matter what the sport is.
I'm still trying to decipher whatever lingo they use in India when I have to call about the phone or internet service.... I ask for ANYONE that can speak ENGLISH, and they always say they can and do it VELLY well, "I am thanking you velly much"! I just gave up!
LOL me too!!! I actually had an operator ask me if I spoke English because I had such a hard time understanding her. Those heavy accents just KILL me ... sounds like my kids when they were toddlers (and I couldn't understand them either! haha). King's English, please!! Thank you!!
