A couple cases of Ensure, a few more packs of socks, and my Bates Tora Bora's are breaking in nicely!

I managed to pick up some more pasta really cheap and more canned goods. I am sure a hundred cans of salmon will go a long way. Don't ignore those Omega 3's!!!

    It's got what plants crave!

Actually, it's got it all. 220-250 calories (about 1/3 from fats) and several vitamins. What I'd like to know is what is its terminal shelf life? When would it break down and no longer be of any use?

Several years ago, on a trail ride a friend did just that and in less than 30 min he was setting in a creek crying. Funny but not a thing I would want to happen to me.

Natrium Chlorite as antibiotic replacement and water treatment, soda for medical purposes also, and for cooking and brushing teeth...also for anti-fungal treatment...

Well, tomorrow in the am the UPS will deliver 2 BB rifles I ordered....
I have used them prior and though they are quite small, and only shoot 350 fps, I have taken a lot of birds with less firepower! ( quiet, and efficicent!)
Besides, I have re-used fired BB's before and they are reliable....
(Here I can buy 6,000 BB's in a bottle for $4.67 at Walmart)
Meanwhile, I have been machining some 150 foot of 3/4 inch aluminum rod into varied devices for placing on a perimeter. Early warning system you might say. I also have redesigned some oldies but goodies from my military days, which will let me kill game far easier by placing traps about....
I also have adapters for my 12 gauge shotgun ( single shot break action), which now allow me to shoot .38/.357, and .410/.45 long colt rounds...
I'm considering any other calibers, and I can easily turn them out in just a few minutes.
    Next?
    I could use some ideas!
I have 3/4 inch nylon rod and 3/4 inch brass rod as well.....
( I turned down an offer to mfg. "penguns" like the older "PENGUIN" styles...)

What Byte said already. 24 vitamins and minerals, 250 calories (less than 1/5th fat). Ensure also provides antioxidants and Omega 3's. It also helps me not eat as much. I like to practice living in hard times, and will condition myself as necessary. I have found a routine that keeps me healthy and energetic. Individual mileage may vary.

Byte, shelf life is 1 to 2 years, and I do not know about entropic rate.

OK so not a long term store but it would make a great supplement. My mom's nursing specialty for her master's degree was in geriatric nursing. She tells me they recommend ensure for older patients due to the high calorie & nutrient levels. Older people tend to eat less and their bodies tend to get less benefit from complex nutrient sources. If you decide to supplement with Ensure be careful of your other dietary intakes. If you need to gain weight Ensure is the ticket! Not so much the ideal supplement if you're looking to lose weight though.

I didn't put anything away this week other than replacing what I used. I am taking inventory of what I do have and may shore up my rice supply. Sugar and salt, too within the next month.
Probably vitamins to replace what we've used, B12, baby aspirin, D, calcium, etc.

Picked up a Spetznaz shovel and a 24" machete, both ColdSteel. I love that shovel, it is absolutely lethal.

....make that one Spetznaz throwing shovel with broken handle
