EE. UU. aumenta flota militar en aguas ticas para combatir narco - EL PAÍS:: - nacioncom ^above is in spanish, but it's from the horses mouth so to speak. US warships cause anger in Costa Rica ^english 46 warships and 7000 Marines to fight narco-gangs and offer humanitarian assistance? Spreading ourselves thin a bit?
wouldn't it just be cheaper to put them on the border and force the shipments to the ocean where the coast guard could nab them?
It would be cheaper if other countries could handle their own damned problems.. but hey, that's just me.
Let's just nuke em. Obama is going to get rid of 40% of our nukes, why not destroy them by using them. Just a thought.
It's an interesting move. Very strategic. One may look at this as a cooperative anti-drug cartel roundup and/or shutdown. One may also claim this is a well orchestrated test run to show the rest of the world that the United States has gone from 'Xe, Inc.' to full fledged Navy-for-hire, ridding the client of those pesky drug lords and CIA operatives etc. One may claim that Venezuela now has to take a turn on the chessboard. Oh, there are so many possibilities. My guess is with the one which will most benefit global governance, banking and corporatism.
Air America has a new name. Have a look at that pic of the spy exchange planes, bet you can tell the new name.
Costa Rica has become an ex-pat hotspot in recent years. It also has no military. To me, that means it is a defacto US territory. I entertained the thought of moving there as a permanent retreat, but something inside told me this was coming.
Somebody adjust my tinfoil beanie: but 46 warships, gets them out of the gulf and atlantic for the anticipated fireworks...
I think the article states, that is what the costa rican goverment will allow. not that ,that is what is going there. BUt it all makes sense strategically, considering the political situation in northern south america, to position forces nearby.
Nicaraugua is the target. or... We getting ready to start war with Iran. Just as they stationed ships over in the Pacific Ocean to guard off China, they are now putting ships in Costa Rica to guard off Venezuela. You can’t make your move until all your pawns are in place. or... They are leaving the Gulf because they are done droping their nukes in that well and are getting ready to blow it soon. After the dust settles they’ll claim that the capped well was under to much pressure and blew or was caused by a methane explosion. Just my theory, we’ll see. or... Under the guise of the “war on drugs” the U.S. Military is evacuating its ships and hardware from the Gulf of Mexico to safety off the sheltered coast of Costa Rica. The “war on drugs” cover story is laughable being that we can’t even get that level of engagement on our border with Mexico where all the drugs come through. The Navy is obviously worried about either poison from the methane/corexit 9500 mix or a massive methane explosion/tsunami. A tsunami fits with the NOAA blackout of the U.S. tsunami warning system. It also explains why BP is not actively cleaning up the oil on the beaches. Why clean them up if they are going to be gone. We are sending a war level force of 46 naval ships to stop drugs in Costa Rica which is roughly the size of Vermont with less coast line than Louisiana. Why has the mainstream media not mentioned this massive military buildup? Obviously it is not a buildup…it is an evacuation. If you are in the gulf coast region you should consider evacuating.
Hmmmm...Could that be a reason for UN Russian and French SpecOp troops in US? Are they really in US just for exercises?
Most (from what I have gathered over the years) of those exercises are quite real and have legitimate reasons for the practice, including MOUT (urban training) exercises for the readiness of troops to render aid to the US and UN forces, to building rep with foreign nations and their militaries for the same or similar ends. The catch that is rarely scrutinized by "experts" is that this violates our founding documents and presents a serious problem to the citizenry of this nation when we consider how corrupt the government really is and the motives behind every foreign alliance made by secret closed door deal in Congress or with the Executive assembly of the POTUS. When we take into consideration the FEMA camps (and whether or not they are actually prisons or happy relocation facilities in case of disaster) and the federal emergency continuity plan of governance, we may see a clearer picture of what might unravel one day if the People do not correct the direction that is being taken. Not that I needed to say any of this, it's just that I am no longer surprised to see foreign troops being trained on US soil. I remember seeing Mexican commandos being trained in Ft. Benning in 1993 -and look where they are now -killing our own cops and civilians in the southwest. I have also seen Japanese troops trained in New Mexico at White Sands, but I have not seen them become a privatized force causing problems in our country yet.
On a similar note, gang members... often illegals.. join the military here to get on the road to citizenship.. oh wait.. I meant, to train and then come back hardened, ex-military, so that they can return to the gangs and bring with them all that they can be.
Yeah that's a give and take argument at best. I have known some amazing people who were very hard working and just all around excellent friends who were Mexican/ Mexican-American and joined the Army...but, I have also known some real dirtbags too. In all honesty, from my own experience, I have seen more blacks who were gang members and thugs than Mexican decent in the military. The blacks would even form gangs within the military and use that arm to deal with their civilian counterparts, forming a cross-trained cyber gang that dealt with all kinds of contraband, drugs, prostitution, and even weaponry and equipment. Thankfully, the military employs CID agents who frequently infiltrate units where these gangs are suspected...unfortunately, more often than not, the little gang bangers get busted while the big dogs get away. Go figure.
So that's probably the reason why lots of US National Guards from quite few states are also engaged? Hmmmm...I hope you're right...I know that if someone in my country tried to use its own "currency" all hell would break loose...I hope we won't see all those troops going to Michigan...Somehow I have a bad feeling about all this...too many "coincidences" all of a sudden...I wish the best of luck to all the people of USA.
