Trespass is a civil offence here in the UK so the land owner would have to take you to court himself as the police cannot do more than move you on,but if you even chop a tree then that can be classed as criminal damage which the police can arrest you for and charge you with in a court of law. So if you want to camp in someones woods the best thing to do is ask them but the way I did it was to tell the farmer I like to nature watch and like to ID plants and would it be possible to spend the odd night in his woods,I also offered to keep the woods clean and tidy up any mess that is left there by others,also I would keep watch on his land. We get badger baiters that dig badgers out of there dens and set dogs on them which is totally illegal and the woods I camp in have badgers so when these creeps that do badger baiting see that the woods are used they stay away as does others when they see some guy in the woods at night with a fire going.

I love garlic, yet mosquitoes love me. I'm not sure that choking down vinegar would be better than scratching a bug bite, but I have to know; How long before the campout do you do this?
I make a regular drink of cider vinegar and honey and almost never get a mosquito bite. Just use a shot of vinegar to a large glass of water and add liberal honey and ice; it really is quite tasty.
I used to eat Tums and Rolaids like candy. I've been using vinegar to control heartburn for quite sometime now. I have eaten an antacid since. I'll try drinking vinegar before and during my camping trip this weekend and see if it works like you say. Thanks for the tip.
That's probably because the majority of what people call "acid stomach" is actually a decline in naturally produced hydrochloric acid. This is especially true of older people (I don't know your age). Basically, you needed more acid instead of less and the cider fit the bill while the tums were having a detrimental effect. Disclaimer - I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV

For what they call sport,they don't eat the badger they just dig it out and let there dogs attack it and rip it to bits. Years ago a local farmer had regular visits from badger baiters so we got a good crew together concealed areselves and waited for them and the farmer stepped out of the shadows and confronted them,they told the farmer if he didn't f--k off they would set the dogs on him. What they didn't count on was the 7 other guys that stepped out of the shadows with shot guns,they where told to f--k off and if they didn't we would shoot there dogs and if they accidentally got some shot in them then there was 8 witnesses that the dogs where set on us and shot but the guy got in the way and took some himself. Who do you think the police would believe a few guys illegally hunting on private land or the farmer out lamping with his friends on his own land. They never did come back to his farm.
To be honest if I had had my way Id have shot the Dogs and the badger baiters and buried them where they fell,plant some new trees on top of them and use them as fertiliser.
