    Hi,
    I'm a righty but the light is so long I could not use my thumb even if it was on the other side... I have a switch coming that I can use in the TG vertical grip.
    The devastator is an incredible light.. for about 20 minutes of run time.

    VLTOR EMOD with Mi-spec tube and H buffer
    YHM flip up front sight
    SWS FF rail
    DD sling swivel and DD light mount with SF E2D
    VTAC sling (best one I ever owned)
    Leupold 1.5-5x22mm with lit SPR reticle and M2 knobs in a Larue mount

    Here is what it did before I changed the tube (haven't shot it since):

    Kaiser lower, DPMS LPK, BCM BCG, DZ nitrided upper, BCM buffertube, prince50 maglock, Magpul MOE FDE furniture and mbus rear sight. OOPS pic is a little big!

    Both belong to a friend of mine in FL, both are pre 86 registered Colt receivers. The M203 is a 40mm registered Bushmaster.....:D:D The good looking guy in the pics (who needs a little more sun) is of course me .. ;)

    Sounds like a great time. I remember fondly when I was able to play with a MP5SD. Full auto suppressed. Oh boy, you couldn't wipe the smile off my face with a hammer and chisel.
