This article is extremely disturbing and everything I have ever thought would come to pass with a global government that has teeth to enforce it's policies. I never thought it would come to this in my life time...but this is downright wrong! INTERPOL an International Police Force that works in tandem with the United Nations to enforce policy and seek out those who commit crimes against "green" policies. Is this for real? What the hell? Any "act" which violates the Constitution of these United States is an act of treason. As such, I am sure appropriate action will take place.
In reality, Interpol is little more than a clearing house for the member nation's police forces to share info. They have NO arrest powers or independant investigation powers on US soil. This is really NOT the big deal some folks make it out to be.
I think you are incorrect, sir. Just because they have no arrest powers, their primary goal is INFORMATION and quite honestly, how they obtain this information is subject to our constitutional laws. If interpol can supersede our laws at the behest of, say, the DHS and go information gathering without restrictions (think Patriot Act unchained), then I think that's pretty significant.
True enough, but they will NOT come storming into your home in the dead of night and haul you off to a UN court or prison....... We need to keep this in perspective. We haven't lost our sovereign nation status to the Useless Nations just yet.......
I can agree with that. Interpol cannot, but FBI in tandem with Interpol can haul you off having used information illegally obtained under our Constitution. It's not a matter of "it won't happen to me". It's a matter of "It can happen to someone"; and that's dangerous in its own right. I digress. You are correct that it doesn't affect our sovereignty per say, but it gives more power to our government by proxy.
Obama already declared a National State of Emergency (for Swine Flu) a while back which puts a plethora of agencies (including and primarily FEMA) in a position to do whatever they hell the want to do, suspend Habeas Corpus (The right to a fair trial) and take control of every system needed to implement Martial Law. Detention without the right to trial in the name of security. They have not done it yet. The question is will our own soldiers implement this against US citizens or will they side with what America really stands for? Or will there be non-US soldiers brought in to take care of the non-compliance... Creating Civil war is one way to totally decimate the population. This is ugly long term stuff guys. Watchman220

. The Mighty Kingdom of England had mercenaries in our last revolution as well. They bled and died as did the redcoats. Mercenaries got no dog in the fight, thus no heart. If Blackwater or Xi or whatever they are called now days takes up arms against the american public, then they are the lowest slime on the face of the earth and deserve no mercy what so ever in whatever happens.
